You get what you pay for

I was never entirely impressed by Free Money Finance. But other financial sites like Lifehacker and Get Rich Slowly etc. had linked to them a few times, so I figured I might as well go to the source.

I don't know what the lifestyle of FMF is, but its not like mine or anyone I know. As a result, the advice they often forwarded along that they thought was great really wasn't applicable to the majority of people. It always seemed to work most well for those who already had fairly easy-to-manage lives, who in my mind are not the top demographic of people who could use help with money management.

Either FMF has the sort of life with wide open possibilities for saving money (e.g., having lots of free time to implement any number of projects) such that the advice they (can and do) use is just extra sugar in the already sweet frosting... or they will end up flat on their face in a few years.
